A few years ago I began sorting the sermons I listened to, making them much easier for me to find them. Amidst all those hundreds of sermons, a separate list began to grow immediately. I called them the Excellent Sermons. At the present day I have about forty sermons in that list, all of which I have listened to at least three times. While they may not be objectively the best (in fact, some of them I can guarantee most people would not term excellent), they are excellent to me either because of the way and to what degree Biblical truth is unfolded, or because the exposition resonated with me deeply in their truth, or simply because of the personal impact they had on me. Basically, these posts are my way of inviting you into my enjoyment of God’s preachers preaching God’s Word, explaining what I love about them and how glorious are the truths they convey from Scripture! I have also added a page directly below where you can find my reviews of many other sermons/lectures outside of this list.
