Project Prayer Request

This December, I have begun a new project on Ephesians.

The goal? Compile and edit everything Richard Sibbes wrote on Ephesians and create a coherent resource of it.

Richard Sibbes never wrote a commentary on Ephesians, but he had a lot to say about it! A lot to say that I think is worth hearing in our day.

Now, I’m asking for your prayers as support. Here are a few specific things:

  • First, I haven’t yet finished editing Ephesians chapter 1, and the document is already 40,000 words long – the length of a short novel. Pray that I would complete this in good time, and that my editing wouldn’t get sloppy over time.
  • Second, I’m thinking through how to make projects like this financially viable in the future. I’ve thought about an eBook with everything on Amazon or another platform, and simply upload free blog articles that have a more stripped-down version of the project. I’ve thought about just praying that the blog gets enough traffic to make monetization worthwhile. I’m considering adding a donation option – you get the picture, I’ve got a lot of options and no clear direction. Please pray that I would be wise in making these decisions, and feel free to offer any recommendations or information in the comments below or by contacting me directly.

I will be praying that God will use this resource for the good of His church, and continue to transform my own hearts as I see Christ in this ongoing deep-dive into Ephesians.
