~Weird
It was a weird week. And by “weird,” I mean that that word was used more than any other. It was everywhere. Between those on the right calling those on the Left weird, and vice versa… well, let’s just say that it was a bit much.
Of course, many failed to pick up on the fact that calling the Left weird doesn’t really mean anything because they already want to be queer. And by queer, I mean opposed to normalcy. Wokal distance does some good thinking here:
The old adage, “Show, don’t tell,” should be brought in here. We should show that the queer, sinful lives being pursued are not worth comparing to the normal lives being pursued by those not so ideologically possessed. And for Christian, we should be showing that Christ is far better than that way of life. It’s a lot more effective than shouting facts, “and these facts don’t care about your feelings!” Afterall, their feelings don’t care about facts. You need to show they how good things are when one lives in Christ!
~Borders
It’s hard talking about borders today. If you say we should have closed borders, most people question your compassion. If I say I would like closed borders in the US and UK, people ask if I have considered my own situation, and how I would feel if I was the one going to get sent back to my home country. So let me start by being as crystal clear as I can, practically and theologically.
Countless people die of fentanyl every year – and many are not using at all. They just happened to come in contact with the substance. The amount of fentanyl being caught at the border (not to mention the amount that isn’t being caught, brought over by those more skillful at crossing without notice) is absurd. The amount collected over the past three years could, by my calculation, kill 100 Billion people, if there were that many to kill.
Then there are the nameless, voiceless horrors you will never hear about.[1] Little girls stripped of their idea and put into slavery – you don’t have to look far to find evidence of this.[2] There was a movie produced, Sound of Freedom, to try and get people passionate about this. Of course, it was called a movie produced by a violent, extremist conspiracy theorist.[3]
Now, square this circle. A Bangladeshi man was shot by police in Bangladesh. In Whitechapel, England, Bangladeshi people protest against this… Yep, you heard that right. Of course, you can’t really blame them. Many don’t speak English, and the authorities are just now putting up signs in their own language informing them of where they live.
Remember the old days of driving into Wales and having signs in English and Welsh? Well, welcome to the days of driving into different parts of the same city and finding a completely different society, speaking a completely different language. Multiculturalism for the win, am I right!?

Manchette fights in the street are everywhere.[4] To people who have been paying attention, it’s nothing new.[5] Nigel is right, “Machete fights in Southend tonight. Our country is being destroyed, our values trashed and the public on the point of revolt.”
Apparently having a populus without guns doesn’t solve the violence problem. Maybe there is a common link to the rise of violence across the West? Maybe Americans should reconsider the Democrats narrative that the rise of violence in America is due to Trump’s rhetoric and the fact that citizens have firearms? I’ll let you think that one through.
And let’s not mention the national, cultural, and societal decay caused by unimpeded immigration. If I was to do that, I’d be a racist. Afterall, I don’t want the inclusion of people into my country that hate my countries government, founding, and people. And guess what? The people I’m talking about say the same thing as they poor into the nation that protect my home and family.
As police flee from men with significant beards in Leeds, England, they just “pick anyone” in Central London.[6] Apparently those protected by multiculturalism don’t include the native cultures. Apparently, if you don’t want to be arrested by the police, don’t be old, white, English, and peaceful.
An elderly man is arrested outside Downing Street. He calmly asks ‘can you tell me what I have done?”
People are right when they complain that they don’t see this level of force being used against other groups rioting for the destruction of Western culture:
But of course, that’s ok because these are far-right extremists. These are just stupid, dumb, heartless, racist bigots![7] Apparently, if you call people you don’t like Nazis, you can act like fascists towards them. “It’s ok to punch Nazis” without due process, says the Left.[8] Well, they called Trump a Nazis. And someone tried to do a lot more than punch him. And a lot of people said “Good job! It’s ok to assassinate Nazis too.”
A word to Democrats: you need to be very careful. If you decide to set aside due process and the rule of law to beat those that you consider Nazis, you’ll not only be acting like the very thing you hate; you will also leave the other side feel like they have no other choice in protecting their rights than to respond to you in kind. Indeed, it’s already happening.
So goes the narratives. And Biden does just fine backing that narrative: “Biden: ‘We are also securing our border. Border crossings are lower today than when the previous administration left office.’ A lie so pathetic that you almost have to laugh.”
Kamala, the presumptive President, blames the situation at the border on Trump. “If Trump hadn’t interfered,” the Democrats say, “we would have passed bipartisan legislation to increase border security.”
I wonder which “bipartisan border bill” that was? Maybe the one with no actual physical resources going to the border. Here is an explanation:
And as much as they try to deviate from this line of pursuit, Kamala was responsible for the border under Biden.[9] She had just as much power to keep the border under control as Trump did. And yet she let millions upon millions cross.
~Wrapping Up the Weirdness
God determines borders. He raises nations up, and brings them crashing down. He is sovereign over every life the crosses the border, and every death that is a consequence of that. For the Christian, life is simple. We proclaim the Gospel, to anyone, anywhere, at any time. We go to all people wearing the shoes of the Gospel of peace. And if they are allowed to invade our countries, we still proclaim truth in love to them.
That does not mean that we do not hold our governments accountable to uphold the good, and punish the evil. To do the job that they are elected to do, and – more importantly – installed by God to do. We are those who need to be fully awake to the moment that we are in. We need to be those who have a full sight of evil and can navigate through it because we know a good and sovereign God over it all.
